FAQs - Working with Me

  • I see individual adults and couples. My clients are often people who are high-functioning on the outside but exhausted underneath, navigating trauma histories, perfectionism, anxiety, or a persistent sense that something is off. I also work with many women in their 30s, 40s, and beyond who are in the middle of significant life transitions: identity shifts, (peri)menopause, changing relationships, and the question of who am I now?

  • I see clients in person at two locations: Mar Vista / Marina del Rey (Mon through Fri mornings and afternoons) and Redondo Beach (Mon afternoons and evenings). I also offer telehealth sessions throughout California.

  • Yes, I offer both in-person and online sessions.

  • Individual 50-minute sessions are $250. Couples sessions are $300.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on income; please inquire about availability.

  • I am currently not in-network with any insurance providers. However, I can provide a superbill upon request — an itemized receipt of your sessions that you can submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please note that it is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider directly to find out if, and how much, of your out-of-network mental health services may be reimbursed.

  • The first session is really just a conversation. I'll ask what's been weighing on you, a little about your history, and what you're hoping for. You don't need to arrive with answers or a tidy story — most people don't. What matters is that you showed up. We'll take it from there.

  • In my experience, weekly sessions tend to yield the best results. Consistency is what allows the work to go somewhere — it builds the kind of trust and momentum that makes real change possible. Without it, sessions can start to feel more like updates than actual therapy. That said, life is real and schedules vary. Frequency is always something we figure out together, and it can shift over time as your needs change.

  • Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate — a written summary of the expected cost of your care. You can request one at any time, and I am required to provide it to any client who is uninsured or not using insurance for our sessions. If you have questions about your estimate, just ask.
